Who We Are:
Ryan has been involved in the bike industry for the past 8 years, starting work as a MTB trail builder in regional NSW while at university. Moving back to Sydney, and not satisfied with the office life, Ryan joined the Team at 99 Bikes, and worked his way up through sales, workshop, and shop management. During this time he honed his skills as a bike mechanic, working on all types of bikes in all types of conditions. Running stores in both NSW and Victoria, Ryan then decided to move to Geelong Victoria, and open Pip’s Mobile Bicycle Mechanic.
Who’s Pip? Pip is a dog. Having moved and stuck with Ryan for 8 years, Pip continues to be a faithful companion and riding buddy to Ryan, and was the inspiration for the name of this business. You might even see her out on jobs or on the trails with Ryan, if you’re lucky.
Riding and Living bikes:
Since discovering mountain biking as a young boy, Ryan has always enjoyed going fast and getting airborne over the rough stuff. Having now traveled to Canada, South Korea, Japan. and New Zealand, Ryan has experienced a great deal of what the world has to offer cycling. From all day lift accessed Downhill at Whistler Bike Park in Canada, to Bike-packing across both South Korea and Japan, Ryan’s passion for cycling has continued to grow, and is always on the look out for new places to ride. These days you’ll likely find him riding at Forrest MTB Trails with Pip, or sending it at You Yangs MTB Trails.
